Everyone familiar with the ATL Hip-Hop Scene is probably asking themselves when is Jeezy going to release Thug Motivation 103 his soon-to-be-released newest album that is commonly referred to as TM103. The answer is probably a lot sooner than you think. With all the activity surroundingYoung Jeezy‘s previous releases including hit songs with a celebrity line-up and an official single titled “Ballin” was released online on April 12 featuring everyone’s favorite rapper, Lil’ Wayne. Other songs that have been speculated to be on the album include “All White Everything” featuringYo Gotti (Video), “Jizzle” featuring Lil’ Jon (Audio), and Lose My Mind featuring Plies (Video). Probably the most valuable piece of the TM 103 puzzle can be seen in the video that outlines what the album symbolizes to Jeezy and how this album is really a piece of music art, distinguishable from what Atlanta has become accustom to. Jeezy has always had great loyalty in Atlanta especially before the releases of his major albums like:
- Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 which was released in 2005 and was certified Double Platinum by the RIAA in 2006
- The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 102 was released Dec. 12, 2006 and in July 2007 had 1.6+ Million Sold
- The Recession was release in 2008 and peaked at # 1 on The Billboards and was recently certified Gold
Although everyone is speculating that its going to be many more months before the album is actually released, it is leaning more in the direction of an early summer release. Jeezy has also released a serious of videos on his youtube account JeezyOfficial including the Hustle Hard (G-Mix), Count It Up featuring Tity Boi (aka Two Chains), Wiz Khalifa – Homicide featuring Young Jeezy, Go Hard or Go Home, and the infamous response to Rick Ross’ B.M.F. Death Before Dishonor. Young Jeezy has released more than enough music to support two albums, and there are probably some tracks that the general population will never hear, but none the less it can’t be much longer until the official verbal confirmation of what is going to happen this summer. This album could change the Atlanta hip-hop scene dramatically with the time and effort and meaning of what this album really means. It is essentially a gift to the current state of hip-hop and Jeezy will continue to address and push those boundaries and limits. So grab a drink, sit back and play your favorite Young Jeezy song and get ready for TM 103.
