Global Getaway: Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France
This tidal Island in Normandy France looks like one of the most amazing destinations on earth. Imagine the view from the castle-like structure, while overlooking the breath-taking view of the Couesnon River below and all the other panoramic displays of awe. If it looks like a fortress, that is because back in the 8th century A.D. it was a fortified area, and to this day it houses the seat of the Saint-Michel monastery, for which it is named after. Definately a Global Good Getaway! Let Us Know What You Think!
