President Barack Obama Acknowledges New Nation of South Sudan
“A proud flag flies over Juba and the map of the world has been redrawn,” Obama said in a statement, later adding: “Together, we can ensure that today marks another step forward in Africa’s long journey toward opportunity, democracy and justice.”
Obama’s statement came immediately after a formal ceremony in Juba, the capital of South Sudan.

This is definitely #GlobalGood news that we are identifying and acknowledging an international problem and taking accountability for some of the actions of lack there of on our part as a nation to prevent these types of activities both domestic and foreign.
