Tiger Woods Fires Long Time Caddie Steve Williams

After more than 12 years together on the golf course, Tiger Woods has announced on his website that he and caddie Steve Williams have parted ways. Tiger Woods released a statement saying “Stevie is an outstanding caddie and a friend and has been instrumental in many of my accomplishments. I wish him great success in the future.” The former number one golfer in the world did not give any explanation for why he fired Williams, who took a temporary job caddying for Australian golfer Adam Scott while Tiger recovers from his knee and Achilles injuries.

Steve Williams wasted no time in taking to his website to release his own statement saying “After 13 years of loyal service, needless to say, this came as a shock. Given the circumstances of the past 18 months working through Tiger’s scandal, a new coach, and with it a major swing change and Tiger battling through injuries, I am very disappointed to end our very successful partnership at this time.”

Needles to say this news has rocked the golfing world with many people wondering whats next for the embattled golfer named Tiger Woods.
