The money market currently is unpredictable round the globe. Money comes in from one door and already ten doors are open demanding money to get spend. In this scenario, when people step out of the house for shopping, they hardly save any money and spend at least 30% on waste products that is just in the greed of discounts, sales, gifts, etc. To be very honest things like discounts and free-gifts does not exist. Everybody wants profit and no one wants to dump his or her business purposely in loss. The gifts and discounts are somewhere covered under the price you are paying. It is just a way to attract customers. People who are keeping such offers are businessmen and they have a business mind and by using that they easily sell their products. While shopping, taking care of the pocket is very important that is mostly ignored.
Frugal shopping is one of the best options to escape from wastage of money. It somehow helps saving money and reduces the unnecessary expenses largely. People can practice it in their day-to-day life. For instance, when you are up for shopping, first prepare the list of items those are most important, and then decide the approximate price of each product. Keep limited money with you and ATM cards are always there for emergencies. Once you decide this in advance, it won’t make you look on any other thing and you will just purchase important things caring for your pocket.
Another aspect is while shopping why we should go to expensive malls and purchase expensive goods in the name of freshness and hygiene. Why to spend extra money on such myths? Why not go to a simple mall and buy the same product with 50% lesser rates that also allows bargaining. Our fathers and grandfathers never had malls in their times and they always use to buy products from stalls and shops. They survived well enough and brought us up that way. Frugal shopping is a smart idea for the ones who can do it smartly.
Though the trade of import and export has developed to a greater extent and connected the world together but the invasion of products from other countries rose the prices enormously. The import charges, tax duties, etc are imposed on the products and it costs very high. Such products are somewhere crushes the idea of frugal shopping.
Shopping with frugality will always keep you within budget. With the use of your ability and experience one can get quality product from small places too, just need to have that kind of vision and experience. Sometimes we may find diamonds in stones. So search for it.
One should always keep a track of the expenses that are done so that it can help you to divide the expenditures and savings. It is our personal decision, whether to spend our hard-earned money on useless things or save some useful money for future.
