5 Scents to Attract Men

The human sense of smell is one of the most powerful senses when it comes to memory and attraction. Imagine a world where you couldn’t smell the sweet scent of flowers or fresh air! It’s no wonder that scent is important to all humans. When it comes to attraction, scent can be highly influential in the progress of a relationship. People who smell good are more likely to get date invitations than people who smell neutral, and most definitely more likely than people who have a pungent odor. Here are five scents that most men will find attractive when associated with a woman. And it should come as no surprise that they are all food scents!

  1. Apple. Apple is used generically here to represent most fruity scents. Fruity and natural scents are said to be enjoyable to both men and women. Thus, if you want to enjoy how you smell as well as attract a man, go with fruit. Fruity shampoos and conditioners, body sprays, deodorant, or air fresheners are guaranteed to be pleasant for all. Fruits like apple, orange, grapefruit, or berry are also excellent choices.
  2. Cinnamon. Used for thousands of years to make savory foods, cinnamon is a classically delicious and attractive scent. Since wearing cinnamon scented perfume isn’t commonly done, you can buy a cinnamon-scented candle or air freshener. If you do want to walk around smelling like cinnamon all day, your other options are to regularly chew a piece of cinnamon gum or to use cinnamon oil and put it in the traditional perfume spots on your wrists, collar bone, behind the ears, and behind the knees.
  3. Vanilla. This scent is incredibly easy to find in almost any way, shape, or form. Vanilla can be used in candles, air fresheners, lotions, perfumes, shampoos, and actual baked goods. Historically, even dating back to the 1700s, the smell of vanilla was found to be attractive to both genders.
  4. Lavender/Pumpkin Pie. Sure, this sounds like a strange combination, but it has scientifically proven that together, these two scents can be a powerhouse for drawing men in. Lavender by itself can be a delicious scent, as can pumpkin pie. When you can combine the two, you will have double the power to reel in males. Spritz yourself up with some lavender perfume, bake a pumpkin pie, and you’ll have men falling at your feet!
  5. Baking bread. If you want to win a man’s heart, pop a fresh loaf of bread in the oven before he comes to pick you up. There’s something so comforting about the smell of fresh bread. Plus, it can make you seem domestic. Now all they need to do is invent a way to get the scent of fresh baked bread into a little perfume bottle.

If you are feeling really daring, why not try the faux-mock cologne for both men and women called bacōn. It smells, just as its name implies, like bacon. And honestly, what man doesn’t like the smell of bacon (even vegetarians can’t help but be lured by its scent!). The effectiveness of this particular smell is still undergoing scientific investigation.
