Best Apps of 2011 (part 1)

It’s the end of the year. On to a new year, full of great places to go, people to see, and apps to download. If you are an app junkie like me, I am going to review the top apps of 2011. There are so many apps to choose from, but there are also apps that are great―and others that just don’t make the cut. If you are interested in the best apps of 2011, this is a 3 part series. Make sure to keep your eyes out for the rest of the series!

1. Audible.

This is one of the best book apps. If you are one that loves to listen to books, download this app. Audible has even gotten stars to read different parts of books. The interface is really easy to use, and you can download books without having to be next to your computer. If you are someone that is on the go, but still wants to stay up to date with the best books, this is a great app for you.

2. Bobo Explores Light.

This is a great app for those of you that have children. It teaches children about light. It shows children the different sources of light, what it looks like, and how people use it. It’s a great app if you want to teach your kids about different things.

3. Princess Dress Up: Sticker Book.

If your daughter loves Disney princesses, this is a great app for her. It’s just like a sticker book―but you don’t have to deal with the messy stickers that kids stick everywhere.

4. The monster at the end of the book.

This is a great app for kids that want to read with you. It stars Grover from Seasame Street―so it’s bound to be a great story!

5. Adobe connect mobile.

If your company has lots of meetings using Adobe Connect, you will want to get this app. You will be able to stay connected with your colleagues.

6. Analytics HD.

If you want to always know what your statistics are, this is a great app for that. This is useful for those that own a website and want to make sure that they are up to date on all of their statistics.

7. Cardmunch.

If  you are a business person that has a lot of contacts, this app is great for you. You can take a picture of a business card and it will convert it to a contact.

This list goes on.
