5 Cheat Meals that Won’t Kill Your Healthy Lifestyle

Living a healthy life is quite possibly the most important aspect of some peoples’ lives. But with all of the exercise and healthy eating habits, you tend to really miss the sweet foods that everyone goes crazy over. While having some junk food isn’t a bad thing once in awhile, having too much of it in any given time can chop all of your health of progress right up. If you’re looking for some foods  that will allow you to cheat on your healthy lifestyle that won’t really hurt you, you’ll find five delicious foods that should fight your craving.

Bagels

If you’re trying to lose weight, fitness gurus say you should avoid these calorie-packed nightmares. In a single bagel with cream cheese, you’re looking at around 500 calories. But when you’re having a cheat meal, bagels are great to turn to. Minus the calories, you get to eat a wholesome food that tastes great, has carbs that will help you out, and won’t destroy your diet in one swoop like a brownie or cake can, which would also ruin the seats in your Queens Honda, when a bagel wouldn’t.

Pancakes

Let’s throw another breakfast meal in there just for good measure. Yet another food that is high in calories and carbs, pancakes are such a great cheat food. You can slather some syrup on top, but that is up to you. Again, turning to a chocolate muffin or something is much worse than its equivalent in pancakes, so if you’re going to be cheating, might as well do it with a food that tastes great and won’t absolutely destroy your diet.

Ice Cream

No, I’m not crazy. Ice cream isn’t the worst cheat meal in the world like some people think it is. It might be loaded with sugar if you choose an outlandish kind of ice cream, but if you choose a conservative flavor, you’ll come out okay. But the point of a cheat meal is to let loose, so dn’t limit yourself based on flavors either. Ice cream has a decent amount of calories in it if you eat the entire carton, but if you limit yourself to a half or less, your health will be alright.

Cereal

How is cereal a cheat meal? Well, those sugary cereals aren’t really the best foods to be eating out there. Professional trainers don’t mention anything about eating cereal with lots of sugar in them when they suggest what to eat in the morning, so that’s a dead giveaway. Still, even though there’s a lot of sugar and carbs, you can enjoy a fairly healthy cheat food.

There are a number of cheat foods out there, but these are some of the more healthy you can choose from. You can check out more using online classifieds as well.
