Apple is a huge part of many people’s lives these days. This prompts the question, just how big is Apple? Apple not only has a lot of money, they have so much money that they could directly compete with the bank accounts of many countries. Take New Zealand as an example. Their current gross domestic product for the past year came down to $123 billion. Compare that with Apple’s total sales of $128 billion.
What’s even more amazing is that this isn’t just coming from older and established product lines. Every single second, for example, 11 iPads are sold all over the world. That means that every minute you spend reading this, 694 iPads were sold.
However, it is even more amazing when one considers the base software running on those iPads. Since the release of the software which runs on iPhones and iPads, it’s been sold with over 200 million devices. That’s almost at the same level as the amount of cars sold in that time, by any company, at 213 million.
