During a CBS new segment a moment of joy and happiness occurred when a storm victim being interviewed found her dog!

Barbara Garcia, local resident was talking about the destruction her home faced when the EF5 Tornado hit and another resident close by spotted something moving among the rubble. After taking a closer look and moving some of the  in the way Garcia’s dog Cathy came running out!

When asked what her emotions where when she found her dog Garcia said, “I thought God just answered one prayer, to let me be okay. He answered both of them. Because this was my second prayer,” Garcia told the reporter after the TV crew helped her free the dog.

Many stories have been coming out in this time of horror that have bought  joy and happiness to local residents. When you see the footage of the destruction many people can’t believe it, now image the people who live there and now have to cope with  the  devastation of Moore, Oklahoma.

He’s 83 years old, he lives in Berlin, Germany and he’s a style icon! Yes,believe it! He has his own following and everything. Photographer Zoe Spawton has started a tumblr page named ” What Ali Wore” where she takes photos of Ali’s street style. And apparently people like his style! Her tumblr page has more than 24, 000 followers but I’m going to guess that after this week, that will likely double, maybe triple.

Zoe spotted Ali while working as a waitress and noticed how well he put his outfits together stating, “His outfits were so put together and he obviously took great pride in his appearance. Also, it was the way he walked. He obviously had a bit of swagger.” Yes, he’s 83 years old but he still got it!

After developing a friendship she asked if she could take some photos of him. Soon after Spawton started taking regular photos of Ali and started posting them to tumblr where clearly she wasn’t the only one who thought Ali had some “swagger.”

“He always wears such great clothes. I don’t speak much German and he speaks a little bit of English, but I managed to ask if I could take his photo. He gladly accepted.” Want to know a little about the man behind the “swagger” well, Ali was once a doctor. He is married and has 18 children. He is now a tailor. And he makes a lot of his stylish clothes himself. Well, that explains a lot!  Ali, himself is a gentleman at heart and is working on making a skirt for Spawton at his tailor shop.

As for the Tumblr and his fan base, Spawton says, “He thought it was funny at first. And I think he did feel a bit proud. Now he’s the one giving me instructions and sowing me where he wants to pose.” Looks Like Ali is enjoying his new found fame! Are you just as excited for Hangover III like me? Well, I can’t wait to see what kind of mess they guys get themselves into this time around! But on a more serious note, The New York Post recently published an article about how actor Zach Galifianakis has a friendship with a women other than his new wife. Uh-oh!

Who is this female friend? Well back when Galifianakis started in the film business in the 90′s he started a friendship with a woman named Elizabeth Haist, 87,  who volunteered at a Laundromat in L.A. and lived off the tips she made. After learning she had been struggling a couple of years ago, what did Galifinakis do? Well, he got her an apartment of course! And to top that, he started bringing her to red carpet events.

Haist recently told the New York Post that she loves the “spolight and the parties” and can’t wait to attend the Galifianakis premiere for Hangover III.  “I’m looking forward to it, I like the excitement of it,” Haist told the paper.

Awww, now isn’t that sweet? Now days, celebs get so caught up in Hollywood they easily forget about the little people. But this story reminds us that there are still good people out there even in Hollywood.

On May 18^th, 2013 the annual San Diego Yoga for Hope will bring together local yogis for an exceptional cause; to raise vital funds to aid the City of Hope doctors and researchers so that they may continue touching the lives of people who have cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.

After only two years now, the Yoga for Hope has grown and become a San Diego event favorite while raising more than $100,000 for the City of Hope! This year they have teamed up with the San Diego Padres and will hold the growing event at Petco Park in the grass at Centerfield. The City of Hope is one of few National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers and is also an independent biomedical research, treatment and education institution, working to conquer things from cancer to diabetes. The City of Hope has been recognized worldwide for their medical research and for their patient care practices. City of Hope has been working on cures for diseases and has made a difference in the lives of many for over 100 years.

Dr. Dre, hip hop legend, and music industry entrepreneur Jimmy lovine donated a combined $70 million to create a new institute at the University of Southern California, announced the university on Tuesday night.

Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, and Jimmy lovine are using the funds to create the Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology, and the Business of Innovation. The two have been music business partners in the past.

The academy sill provide a four year program for undergraduates interested in a  vast of fields including marketing  computer science  and visual design. The program will have one-on-one faculty mentoring with professors from around the world in the entertainment industry luminaries.

“The vision and generosity of Jimmy lovine and Andre Young will profoundly influence the way all of us perceive and experience artistic media,” said USC President C.L Max Nikias in a statement. “WE are committed to encouraging our students to use their intellectual and creative resources to effect change in all segments of society. Our goal is to ensure that the academy is the most collaborative educational program in the world.”

The building is set to open in 2014 and accept its first class of 25 students that fall.

lovine is the co-founder of Interscope Records, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M, as well as a mentor on “American Idol”.

Dr. Dre is a producer, rapper, and entrepreneur. He started his own record label, Aftermath Entertainment, and creator of Beats by Dre headphones and speakers.

Sir Paul McCartney has always been known as a generous man, but we didn’t know just how nice he could be.

During a concert stop in Fortaleza, Brazil last Thursday McCartney spotted a fan holding a sign that said, “Paul, I want to propose to my love onstage. Would you bless us?” So McCartney actually put the show on hold for a few minutes to give these superfans the engagement story to end all engagement stories.

“Listen, we have a special thing tonight. One of the signs in the audience was for a boy and a girl. And the boy said he wants to propose to his girlfriend onstage. What do you think? Yeah?” McCartney said, giving the thumbs-up sign. “We gotta do it.”

The couple bravely made their way to the stage, and after getting a little reassurance from McCartney himself, the groom-to-be got on bended knee, pulled a ring out of his pocket, and asked the love of his life to marry him in their native tongue of Portuguese. After she said, “yes,” McCartney enveloped the couple in a group hug.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, DreamWorks has announced today that it has acquired the popular YouTube Channel, AwesomenessTV, for $33 million in cash. The acquisition will allow for DreamWorks to secure an online platform to showcase family focused movie franchises such as “Shrek” and “Kung Fu Panda”.

AwesomenessTV is set to rack up even more money from DreamWorks. If the channel is able to meet certain goals by 2014 and 2015, DreamWorks is expected to pay up to $117 million total for the acquisition. The transaction is expected to be completed this month.

“With this deal, DreamWorks Animation will acquire a thriving next generation media company, which through its Multi-Channel Network on YouTube has already up to 55,0000 channels, aggregating over 14 million subscribers and 00 million video views,” said DreamWorks in a statement. “In addition, the AwesomenessTV brand has recently extended beyond the mobile platform into television and film, signaling continued cross platform expansion plans.”

AwesomenessTV currently features online talk shows, sketch comedy and scripted and reality series aimed at teens. It is among the original channels that Google Inc owned YouTube helped bankroll over the past year and a half. YouTube paid over $100 million to help about 150 media partners to create and promote specialized YouTube channels.

AwesomenessTV’s Brian Robbins, founder of the channel, is set to stay on to oversee the company. Robbins has executive produced on shows such as “One Tree Hill” and “Smallville”. Robbins initially put $3.5 million into AwesomenessTV, with the help of Hollywood talent firm United Talent Agency. Robbins has also landed himself a role at DreamWorks animation.

The adorable little girls known as Sophia Grace and Rosie have already made a name for themselves covering a wide range of pop hits, from Taylor Swift to Nicki Minaj, that it comes at no surprise to see them cover Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ hit single “Thrift Shop.”

The song isn’t exactly friendly to kid’s ears but the version Sophia Grace and Rosie performed on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Monday was safe for all ages.

After their performance the girls sat down with Ellen’s guest Vince Vaughn, who has a 2-year-old daughter and announced on the show that he and his wife are expecting their second baby, and gave him some much needed advice on how he should go about raising his little girl.

“Always make sure you cuddle her,” Sophia Grace noted. “Take her to the chemist if she hits her knee,” Vaughn joked, referring to a comment Sophia Grace had made earlier in the show. “And be responsible for her,” Rosie added.

Bassist Pete Sears had his prized custom bass guitar stolen while at a music festival in Germany thirty-five years ago. After spending a couple of decades looking for his prized guitar, the former Jefferson Starship member will soon be reunited with the one-of-a-kind instrument.

According to the Marin Journal, Sears did not even have many chances to play the brand-new Doug Irwin bass, nicknamed “Dragon” for it’s uniquely-shaped inlay, before it was stolen during a riot at the 1978 music festival. “I felt sick,” he told the Journal earlier this week, “It was like losing a work of art. I couldn’t believe it was gone. I was in shock. The whole band was in shock.”

“Barely a week has gone by that I haven’t lamented on the loss of this beautiful instrument,” he wrote in a Facebook post. Tom Lieber, who crafted the guitar out of the same wood as Jerry Garcia’s own electric bass, posted an ad four years ago offering a $2,500 reward to anyone who came forward with the bass. Someone finally responded to that ad a few weeks ago saying he was in possession of the guitar and would like to arrange for it’s return.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Sears told the paper. “I was absolutely ecstatic.”

The prized guitar is back with Liber, who is repairing some damage on it from over the years, before shipping it back to Sears’ home in San Rafael where he’s already made big plans for it.

“I can’t wait to get it in my hands again and try it out onstage jamming with Barry, Roger and John in Moonalice,” he wrote in a Facebook post, “I never thought I’d see it again.”

Iron Man 3 doesn’t open up in North America until May 3rd, but the super hero flick has already been a major success overseas. The film, directed and co-written by Shane Black, raked in $195.3 million in the international box office, blowing The Avengers out the water.

The Avengers opened internationally with $185.1 million, making it the biggest opening weekend in many countries including Argentina and Indonesia. The film earned a record-breaking $207.4 million domestically. “You don’t know that you could ever repeat the kind of experience we had a year ago, and here the Marvel team brought together another incredible movie,” said Dave Hollis, head of distribution for Disney. “We’ve had this as a pattern for Marvel films to kind of let momentum internationally signal for domestic audience that the film is coming, something big is coming.”  Iron Man 3 got a head start in theaters when it opened in 42 oversea markets. The sequel, starring Robert Downey Jr, is expected to wake up the sleepy box office that has seen relatively small numbers this entire year.

As far as movies go, this year has been a bit lackluster at the box office. So far, The Great and Powerful Oz and Identity Theft opened with good numbers, but haven’t yet made a cultural dent like that anticipated from Iron Man 3 and is  expected to bring in huge numbers opening weekend.

Marvel has plenty comic book films lined up for the next few years such as a new Thor, Captain America, and Avengers. All in all, it seems like everyone’s favorite Avenger just might be Iron Man.
