Matt Bomer, Star Of White Collar, Comes Out As Gay
Matt Bomer, star of the tv series White Collar, has finally revealed to the world that he is indeed gay. The 34 year old actor and family came out during his acceptance speech at the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards on Saturday. Bomer was being honored with the New Generation Arts and Activism Award for his activism against HIV/ AIDs, and he took that time to thank his partner, Hollywood publicist Simon Halls.
He also mentioned and thanked their three children in the speech, saying “I’d really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry.” He went on to say “Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment.” This is only the second time Bomer has mentioned his children in public, the first time coming last March while co-hosting the Today Show.
