Man Nearly Dies While Eating “Triple Bypass Burger” At Heart Attack Grill
Tourists first thought they were watching a stunt pulled by the Heart Attack Grill owners, but they soon learned that a man was really suffering a heart attack. Owner Jon Basso said “amid the “doctor,” ”nurses” and health warnings at the Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas, adding that the situation “was no joke.”
The un-named man was enjoying a “Triple Bypass Burger” when he started sweating profusely and visibly shaking. The man could barely speak and soon “Doctor” Jon Basso had to call 911. Paramedics were called Saturday night, fire spokesman Tim Szymanski said, and the man was hospitalized. His name and information about his condition weren’t made public. Eaters are given surgical gowns as they choose from a calorically extravagant menu offering “Bypass” burgers, “Flatliner” fries, buttermilk shakes and free meals to folks over 350 pounds.
