Greater Good brings you tips on bringing hope

Greater Good, another positive news force in Silicon Valley

Seeing as Global Good Networks is headquartered in California and operates many operations in Northern California we like to stay in tune with what is going on in the bay area. Berkeley has a section on its website called the Greater Good, and we like that a lot.

Although you may think that we see them as competition we are here for Global Good so any other websites also spreading that goodness are great in our eyes, in this case, Globally Great. We like to cover universities and colleges from time to time as they often have great grass roots organizations and columns like this where they focus on positivity.

Their post on hope discusses great ideas to help inspire and motivate people, to stay positive and realistic so they can keep that outlook.

Some tips included:

  • Set clear and attainable goals.
  • Develop multiple strategies to reach those goals.
  • Stay motivated to use the strategies to attain the goals, even when the going gets tough.

When giving people advice about how to be hopeful it is interesting to ask them to define what they see hope as. Everybody has their own definition and they can take on completely different meanings. Some people turn to religion other people turn to family and friends, some turn to accomplishments and optimism.

How do you define hope Global Gooders? Enjoy this piece from Greater Good and please share your meaning of hope with the world below!
