Decision 2012 is here, and Obama Wins

For all of you who have been following the 2012 election, the news is now official that Obama has won. It was said to be a very tight race although towards the end Obama’s margins kept making it less even.
We recommend checking out the politico 2012 Presidential Election which has a great user interface and it is easy to look at who won the popular votes in each state with useful color overlays to signify the Republicans and Democrats.
We were also utilizing the CBS News live presidential election results page. This was also easy to use and featured a lot of quick access information such as the net changes between the two sides. You were able to monitor the Senate’s Balance of power by seeing the seats at stake left as well as the seats needed for majority. As of now for example it shows that the democrats have 54 and Republicans have 44 seats with 51 needed for majority.  Also on the site was a Control of House seat chart that was also color coded.
The election results that discussed the battleground states were of particular interest to us
