Katie Couric, Boyfriend Brooks Perlin End Relationship After Five Years

After five years of dating, Katie Couric and Brooks Perlin have ended their relationship. The long time couple first met at a cancer research fundraising event at the Louis Licari Hair Salon in St.Louis back in 2006. A 2007 report in People said that Couric was initially thrown off by her 17-year age difference with Perlin, but that the wealthy Connecticut financier won her over. Now Brooks is reportedly moving out of Couric’s Upper East Side home in New York. A friend of Couric’s tells The New York Post‘s Page Six that Katie and Brook still remain good friends, saying “Brooks is a great person and a real gentleman; he and Katie enjoyed their time together. But after five years, they have decided it was time to go their separate ways.”
