Celle is a town in northern Germany which is a very historic little place to visit. It has rows of timber-framed houses that are just beautiful accents to the town and show off the great architectural elements that are present in Celle. The oldest standing house in Celle was built in 1526 and is still a beauty!
Alstadt is an old medieval town centre that tourists can walk through and view some of the timber-framed houses, enjoy a cold beverage, and sit down to eat in this beautiful area of town. Buildings that are a must see inlcude Celle Palace, Hoppener Haus, and Celle Hasenjagd. St. Mary’s Church is also located in Celle as well as the French Garden and the Lower Saxon Stud Farm.
