Comic Book Legend Frank Miller Calls Occupy Wall street ‘Louts, Thieves & Rapists.’
The genius mind behind “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns,” “Sin City” and “300,” does not like Occupy Wall street at all. Frank Miller took to his blog and wrote a scathing post about the grass roots that shocked almost everyone in his industry. Frank feels that the protesters are nothing more than “a pack of louts, thieves, and rapists, an unruly mob, fed by Woodstock-era nostalgia and putrid false righteousness.” Funny enough though most of the protagonists in his stories are usually fighting against corrupt government officials, but i guess in real life he feels a different way. Frank even suggested that the occupiers join the military instead saying “Maybe our military could whip some of you into shape. They might not let you babies keep your iPhones, though. Try to soldier on.” This is a strange position to take for a man who’s characters often battle the type of government we have right now, and its stranger that Miller would tell these people to join our military when he has never served himself.
